Yes, welcome ... and thanks for adding pages on less-well-known musicians. Paul 04:31, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
This is a completely pointless comment of affection. :D Hi! Mhari 23:50, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Germaine Tailleferre's legal name was indeed "Marcelle Taillefesse"
editThis is according to the SACEM records and the Tailleferre Estate...What are your sources? Musikfabrik 20:58, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Hello and thank you for your comments. My information about Honneger comes from several first-hand source. You will note that I did not give the reason, which is rather explosive. Since I cannot presently give the reason why there was this state of affairs, I decided to omit the phrase which stated the reason generally given, leaving the question open. While this doesn't solve the enigma, it does indicate that there are perhaps questions which should be asked, which may lead some people to an understanding of what is being expressed here.
I'm sorry to be so cryptic, but it is currently necessary. Musikfabrik 10:53, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
*BAMF!*
editErin! I must say that the persistent reminder of your Wikipedia antics (e.g. the drama and humor of various composers) kinda made me want to join up here.
So, here I am, and thank you.
But, I must be going! *BAMF!* I Jethrobot 06:24, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Le Boeuf
editI checked my sources and realized that I read the information wrong. The Bar was named for the ballet which was conceived at the old bar...I've changed the information and added my source, which is an out-of-print transcript of a French television interview with Cocteau. Cocteau does not mention the name being from a Brazlian song, but he does say that the title was intended to mock such names as "Le Chien qui fume" and "Le Cheval Bai", which the creators found to be ridiculous. Strangely also, he speaks of the "spectacle" being performed by the "Fratellini Clowns" and with a "foxtrot" section which was a gynastic number. It sounds less and less like a ballet re-reading this. Whether this was more of a Cocteau show than a Milhaud show is a matter for discussion. Cocteau makes it sound as if he was the one who was running things, but....
- Speaking of Milhaud, that article needs a major rewrite. It jumps from 1922 to 1939 and really only glosses over things which should be developed. Do you think that you might be willing to try to flesh these things out a bit?Musikfabrik 12:15, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
WikiProject LGBT studies
editHello! I noticed that your userpage mentions that you are interested in LGBT issues. Would you be interested in joining WikiProject LGBT studies? The WikiProject's been a bit inactive recently and some of us are trying to get it going again. We'd love to have you on board! Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 21:34, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

honegger, milhaud, etc.
editerin, it's impossible for a girl born in '86 to understand this music, i'd suggest that you stop listening to it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.160.162.242 (talk) 07:29, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Survey
editHi erin!
I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!
It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!
Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!
Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! Precious
editFrench 20th-century music
Thank you for quality articles around Milhaud and Honegger, such as Madeleine Milhaud, Pacific 231, Andrée Vaurabourg and Jean Guillou, for "heavily edited the biography", for reverting vandalism, and correcting typos and names, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!
