This is a mostly unreferenced de facto list, but it fails WP:NLIST. My BEFORE found only low quality listicles (ex. [1] or [2] which are not very reliable). As an article, it fails WP:GNG/WP:IPC. While the concept of gods and religion in comics is likely notabe, a listing of god characters and even "events involving gods" (such a section exists in the article) seems like simple WP:FANCRUFT (and rather problematic, as it lists a number of entities that are fictional, like Atlantean gods, and such, plux many entries are just simple descriptions "The Mexican gods are a pantheon of both Mayan and Aztec deities.", not even confirming that Mexican gods indeed appeared in DCverse. _{Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here} 11:36, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

• Delete - There is not a single source being used outside of the comics themselves and some fan sites. The article consists entirely of in-universe plot information, and does not even serve as a useful navigational list, as nearly every entry just links to the article on the real-world version of the various pantheons. While some of the individual entries here (such as the New Gods) are notable on their own and have valid sourcing, there really is not any reliable, secondary sources that discuss the overall concept of "gods" in general in the DCU that would pass the WP:GNG. I suppose this could be Redirected to List of cosmic entities in DC Comics, which pretty much covers the same characters, but that list is pretty terrible itself.   The general list is a workable topic. And in fact has a more compact list of - bluelinked - DC Comics deities there already, meaning this page is totally superfluous. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 08:49, 2 June 2022 (UTC)

  @Zxcvbnm I don't get how is it workable topic, instead of an invitation to list each and every fictional god in existence (well, fictional existence...). It's no different from any generic list of fictional entities, really, given lack of sources attempting to recreate such lists outside Wikipedia (failure of NLIST). _{Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here} 11:30, 2 June 2022 (UTC)

  I don't believe every fictional god should be listed. Only ones with articles, i.e. the ones in Category:Fictional deities. Categories and lists can coexist, especially since typical visitors will always want an actual list over a category. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 11:56, 2 June 2022 (UTC)

• Delete as there aren't any reliable independent sources to substantiate this article or its WP:NOTABILITY. Appears to be entirely WP:OR, which says if no reliable independent sources can be found on a topic, Wikipedia should not have an article about it. Shooterwalker (talk) 14:27, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
