Wikipedia:Cambridge University Wikipedia Society

The Cambridge University Wikipedia Society (CUWPS) is an effort to coordinate staff, students and alumni of University of Cambridge on Wikipedia outreach efforts within the university. In its present form, it exists primarily as a mailing list used to communicate events of interest to Wikipedians in and around the University. In the past, it has organised talks and other activities for members, occasionally in collaboration with other University societies. Members regularly attend the Cambridge Wikimedia meetups. Ultimately, we hope to gather as many Wikipedians who are current members of the university, or alumni living in the nearby area, as possible.
