Redundant to File:AMX-50.jpg. See WP:NFCC#3a. Stefan2 (talk) 16:23, 12 September 2014 (UTC)
- Keep. As an unusual variant, it's not redundant to any of the images in Commons:Category:AMX-50 in the Musée des Blindés, and a free replacement is unlikely to exist. - Eureka Lott 01:16, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
- That's not what WP:NFCC#3a means. WP:NFCC#3a, by virtue of WP:NFLISTS, tells that we do not need to see multiple pictures of tanks in this article. There are already freely licensed images of some of the tanks mentioned in this article. --Stefan2 (talk) 21:48, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
- I think the image meets the NFCC criteria. As I noted above, this image is substantially different from any of the free images we have (or are likely to have) available. WP:NFLISTS clearly doesn't apply, since it's not being used in a list. If it was a redundant image, it would be a CAT:REFU candidate and we wouldn't need to have this discussion. - Eureka Lott 18:34, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
- The image would only be appropriate in an article AMX 50 Foch, but no such article exists. In this article, the tank model is barely mentioned, and the image therefore violates WP:NFCC#8. --Stefan2 (talk) 15:57, 18 September 2014 (UTC)

This is a non-free derivative work of a cartoon, the original version of which is now in the public domain. It is being used on the Rube Goldberg machine article to illustrate an example of such a machine. There is no reason to use this non-free derivative work when the original public-domain image could be used instead. Psychonaut (talk) 19:12, 12 September 2014 (UTC)
