Maureen McCormick

When You Get a Little Lonely is a studio album by American actor and singer Maureen McCormick (pictured), her only solo album, released on April 4, 1995, through the label Phantom Hill. While playing Marcia Brady in the sitcom The Brady Bunch in the 1970s, McCormick recorded four albums with the cast and a duet album with her co-star Christopher Knight. In 1994, she signed with her brother's record label and recorded When You Get a Little Lonely in Nashville, Tennessee, and Hollywood, California. McCormick selected the final track listing, fusing other genres into the album's overall country sound. Barry Coffing was the executive producer, and arranged and produced all the songs. The title track and "Tell Mama" were released as singles. The album received mainly negative reviews. 1460 – The University of Basel was founded as Switzerland's first university.
1721 – Robert Walpole (portrait shown) took office as First Lord of the Treasury, Chancellor of the Exchequer and Leader of the House of Commons, becoming Britain's first de facto prime minister.
1949 – Twelve nations signed the North Atlantic Treaty, establishing NATO, an organization that constitutes a system of collective defense whereby its member states agree to mutual defense in response to an attack by any external party.
1975 – Vietnam War: On a mission to evacuate children from South Vietnam, a U.S. Air Force plane crash-landed at Tan Son Nhut Air Base, killing 78 children and 60 others.

The Amber Mountain rock thrush (Monticola sharpei erythronotus) is a songbird in the Old World flycatcher family Muscicapidae, endemic to Amber Mountain, an isolated volcanic massif at the northern tip of the island of Madagascar. It inhabits woodland, where it forages for insects and other small prey. The taxon is generally considered to be a subspecies of the forest rock thrush, but has also been regarded as a separate species. It is listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature as endangered because of its very limited range and the destruction of its forest habitat.

This picture shows a male Amber Mountain rock thrush photographed in Montagne d'Ambre National Park. The female is a much less conspicuous bird, with largely brown plumage.
