A4 +‎ papir, first part is a colloquial way of describing something typical or expected. Last part from late Old Norse pappir, from Middle Low German pappir, from Latin papyrus (papyrus, paper), from Ancient Greek πάπυρος (pápuros, papyrus), of unknown descent, perhaps from Egyptian.
