Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is an upcoming video game featuring Spider-Man. Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions blends together the many alternate universes of the world-famous webslinger with four unique takes on Spider-Man's history in comics.[1]
Voice actors Neil Patrick Harris, Christopher Daniel Barnes, Dan Gilvezan and Josh Keaton voice a Spider-Man from each of their respective alternate universes.
Gameplay
The player will be able to control four versions of Spider-Man, spanning the mainstream (Earth-616), Noir (Earth-7207), Marvel 2099 (Earth-928), and Ultimate (Earth-1610)[2] universes.
Each dimensions' Spider-Man has a unique fighting technique that distinguishes him from the others.
- Amazing Spider-Man implements various web-attacks, such as web hammers and maces designed to combine webbing with the environment to create devastating up-close and long range combat.
- Spider-Man Noir uses stealth tactics and timing to silently defeat his enemies in gritty up-close and personal combat. When the character is safely concealed in the shadows and thus invisible to enemies the screen turns black and white, and when the character is exposed in light the screen is colored meaning the character can be seen.
- Spider-Man 2099 is air driven, using high-flying acrobatics and his suits' special technologically advanced abilities in mid-air combat achieved by jumping off ridiculously high futuristic buildings. He also has talons which give him an up-close and personal weapon. Spider-Man 2099 has accelerated vision (a term coined by the production team describing when everything slows down around Spider-Man while he remains the same speed allowing him to dodge attacks.[citation needed]) Although the original Spider-Man 2099 does not have a spider-sense, it has been added to the game with an as-yet-unknown explanation as to why it does.
- Ultimate Spider-Man uses the powers of the symbiote suit to devastate hordes of enemies, generating symbiotic spikes and tendrils which act like extensions of his own body.
Another feature of gameplay is the first-person combat. This allows the player to pummel enemies up-close and personal. This event happens at certain points during the game and is described as a reward for the player.
Synopsis
Plot
An artifact known as the "Tablet of Order and Chaos" is shattered into four pieces during a skirmish between Spider-Man and Mysterio, causing problems with multiple Marvel Universe realities. Madame Web calls on four versions of Spider-Man from four realities to assist her in bringing the realities back into balance: the Amazing Spider-Man, Noir, a 1930s version of Spider-Man, Ultimate Spider-Man, who is currently bonded with a symbiote, and Spider-Man 2099, the Spider-Man of a possible future. The Spider-Men are informed that each of the villains in their respective universes has received enhanced powers due to the fragments of the tablet in their possession. Each villain is granted power to accomplish what they desire most, defeating the Spider-Man of their respective universe.

Audio
Each Spider-Man will be voiced by a different actor who has voiced Spider-Man in the past. Neil Patrick Harris, who voiced Spider-Man in Spider-Man: The New Animated Series, will voice the Amazing Spider-Man of the mainstream Marvel universe.[11] Christopher Daniel Barnes, who portrayed Spider-Man in Spider-Man: The Animated Series, will voice Spider-Man Noir.[12] Spider-Man 2099 will be portrayed by Dan Gilvezan, who was the voice of Spider-Man in Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends.[3] Finally, Ultimate Spider-Man will be voiced by Josh Keaton, who lent his voice in the 2008 series, The Spectacular Spider-Man.[13] Stan Lee will narrate the story, which Lee has not done in a video game since 2001's Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro.[14] Jim Dooley will be composing the game's orchestral score.[14]
