Steven Sainz is a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives representing District 180 since January 14, 2019.[2]
Sainz was twenty-three years old when he launched his campaign.[1] Sainz is the Chief Executive Officer of a community improvement organization.[3] He ran unopposed in the 2018 general election after he defeated incumbent candidate Jason Spencer in the Republican primary. Spencer was seeking a fifth term and has been controversial for comments he's made and a ban on face coverings he proposed[4] and was featured on Sacha Baron Cohen's Who is America? show. In the November 6 General Election, Sainz seeks to represent District 180.
