Student of the Year 2 is an upcoming Indian film directed by Punit Malhotra.[1] It is a sequel to the 2012 film, Student of the Year.[2] The film is distributed by Fox Star Studios and produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions.[3] The film stars Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey in the lead roles.[4][5] The film is scheduled for release on 23 November 2018.

Production
The film is the second part of the franchise to a 2012 film, Student of the Year.[7] Filming starts on 9 April 2018 in Dehradun.[8]
