Serena Williams defeated Samantha Stosur in the final, 6–4, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2011 Canadian Open.[1] It was her second Canadian Open title.

Caroline Wozniacki was the defending champion, but lost to Roberta Vinci in the second round.
