Barbora Krejčíková defeated Sofia Kenin in the final, 6–4, 2–6, 6–4 to win the singles title at the 2023 San Diego Open.[1] It was the first final in the tournament’s history to be contested by two wildcards.

Iga Świątek was the reigning champion,[2] but chose not to compete this year.
