Opposed speedy renaming
[edit] Moved from WP:CFDS
– BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 13:56, 21 April 2018 (UTC)- Category:South Africa international soccer players to Category:South Africa international footballers – C2D: Per South Africa national football team, South Africa national under-23 football team, and South Africa women's national football team. S.A. Julio (talk) 18:03, 12 April 2018 (UTC)
- Category:Olympic soccer players of South Africa to Category:Olympic footballers of South Africa
- Category:South Africa women's international soccer players to Category:South Africa women's international footballers
- Oppose above three. These proposals go against the convention of Category:Soccer in South Africa and the main article of the tree Soccer in South Africa. IMO the national team articles should be renamed instead. Armbrust The Homunculus 21:41, 12 April 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose WP:ENGVAR in South African English, it's called "Soccer". The only time it was called "football" was when the World Cup showed up. In South Africa, the most popular football is rugby. -- 70.51.203.56 (talk) 05:29, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
