[edit]Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Ajay Pratap Singh won in the Assembly election of 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Elections defeating Samajwadi Party candidate Yogesh Pratap Singh by a margin of 28,405 votes.[3]
