Notes

[edit]
  • A French co-production.
  1. ^ Conflicting sources stated the film's budget to be various figures between $50 million and $100 million. The most frequently cited figure and also the figure cited by Luc Besson in his book, The Story of The Fifth Element is $90 million.
  2. ^ Both films were shot simultaneously and split into two parts.[23]
  3. ^ On 5 August 2014, Variety wrote that Lucy had an estimated $100 million pricetag and was a record-setting investment for EuropaCorp,[49] but other sources and even previous articles published by Variety claim the film's budget is $40 million. France's CNC lists the budget as €49.01 million.
