Ophthalmology should fall under surgical subspecialties. Eye surgery is not considered a field of medicine. Ophthalmology is and it is considered a surgical subspecialty. Please see

Not done. Eye surgery is already under the "surgery" category. Correct me if I'm wrong, but ophthalmology seems to include non-surgery practice as well.  Ganbaruby! (Say hi!) 06:53, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest that the Medical Toxicology speciality be added in the "Other" section of this template (with the given link). Kraemer (talk) 23:40, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit semi-protected}} template. Please post a notification at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine to indicate your proposal. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 23:48, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Minor reorganization

[edit]

Dear all, I would suggest to move "Hospital Medicine", "Transplant medicine" and "Palliative care" as a subspecialty of Internal Medicine. "Pain medicine" should go in a parenthesis after "Palliative care".

"Evolutionary Medicine" is not a specialty but describes some theoretical models of medicine and I think that should be removed. 151.38.138.16 (talk) 13:44, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
