[edit]This article was proposed for deletion on January 4. I can't think of anything interesting to say about 499. Per WP:NUM, at least three interesting and unrelated properties are needed for an integer to merit its own article. The only thing Jeremy could muster was that 499 is prime, but for the sake of argument let's say that's interesting. If you look at 400 (number), you'd find that 499 is also a Chen prime, but that's clearly related to the fact that it's a prime.
So unless someone can find two other interesting (and unrelated to primality) things to say about 499, it doesn't merit its own article. So I'm redirecting it to 400. PrimeFan 22:24, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Wow, you guys move fast. I mostly added the page as an experiment. I don't know of anything particularly compelling about the number 499 and do not object to the article's deletion. Jeremybornstein 23:35, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
