does the name come from turkish bey/beg?
- NE begec ime je nastalo od reci bezanija. Dusko ninkov
- According to my sources it did come from bey/beg - its name means "the village of the beg". PANONIAN (talk) 00:36, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
