Talk:Farmers Insurance
Criticism Section
[edit]If someone volunteers to add good press to this entry that would be great, unfortunately, no one has. Criticism is crucial to getting other perspectives about this company hence this section. It should not get deleted since it is the only perspective. The Criticism section does site references. Router 03:35, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
This section severely needs to be cleaned up, or at least counter-balanced with some good press the company has had. Otherwise it just sounds like someone is ranting. --Alan 00:38, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
While criticism sections are fine, they must be sourced properly. farmersinsurancegroupsucks.com would not be considered a reliable source. OhNoitsJamieTalk 21:08, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit]I'll grudgingly accept the mold case and the adjustor's case, but the last case seemed to be a fairly routine insured lawsuits (I work with a lot of insurance industry people, and insured lawsuits against big companies are quite common). OhNoitsJamieTalk 23:55, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
The Barbara Martin case is also a landmark story. It made public the use of Colossus by insurance companies which is a program used for claims. There are many cases as you suggest against insurance companies, but this one was significant because of the Colossus program exposure. I could list hundreds of bad faith lawstuits against Farmers Insurance, I only chose these three. I will add Ethel Adams case when time permits. Router 14:47, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
