Alabama fort

[edit]

User:Dofftoubab, thank you for adding mention and link to the Alabama fort. I don't know why User:Station1 [deleted it in 2019, seems to me like that was effectively vandalism, oh well. --Doncram (talk, contribs) 02:02, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! Just finished writing the article today and wanted to make sure I had as many links to it as possible! Dofftoubab (talk) 02:28, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
User:Station1, in 2019 you removed the redlink entry which was supported by valid supporting bluelink. This 2019 version of Lemuel P. Montgomery article was a bluelink using the required redlink. I was disappointed to see that you had deleted the valid item, as in past I had seen you delete numerous items. You knew the rules, yet repeated that kind of stuff. --Doncram (talk, contribs) 08:17, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) I can't help notice the unnecessary characterization (and accusatory word) "vandalism" was used, even though Doncram had previously literally admitted they didn't know why the link was deleted. A retraction (strikethrough) would not be out of line, and would somewhat balance this foible. Not trying to be the police here, but a friend points out good faith errors to a friend. Please consider this simple amends for Wikipedia, if not for User:Station1. BusterD (talk) 23:46, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
