We probably need more description of what uses MVPG.
Expanded Storage can still be configured on current machines, zEC12 and earlier. z/VM up to z/VM Version 6 Release 2 will use it. Billbitner (talk) 19:21, 19 May 2013 (UTC) Bill Bitner
- Bill, see what you think of what I've done. You'll probably need to work on the VM-related bits. Martin Packer (talk) 19:56, 19 May 2013 (UTC)
REDIRECT
[edit]The original of tihs article had the attention at some point by a reknowned expert (initials M.P. : Mainframe Professional!), but as of this writing, the article had been tagged with a not-good-enough hatnote.
The content of this article, IBM mainframe expanded storage, has been copied into the z/Architecture article, which also has benefitted from M.P.
Enhancements, including Wiki-fying and adding citations, have been made and... the next step is to transform this into a #REDIRECT so that the original edit history will be preserved.
This article served its purpose, describing a since-past 15 or so years of the 50+ years of 360=Mainfame history. Thanks to one and all. Pi314m (talk) 17:25, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
