epidoe sources

[edit]

Since the series started getting any titles at all has been horrible. There's no sources I can even get them from I resorted to anything I can get my hands on. Aside from a few minor mistranslations they all turned out fine. Also other lists like this have the same format of posting titles but their editors forbid adding summies until the episode airs. I suggest you refrain from removing things unless they are proven false because everything I've added to this page in that past was mostly right. Darkcat1 (talk) 03:00, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unless you have a reliable source the verify the titles, they must be removed per Wikipedias policy on verifiability, which is non-negotiable. The WP:BURDEN is on you to show that the titles are verifiable via a reliable source. Not on me to show that the titles are wrong. —Farix (t | c) 03:10, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
After looking at a very bad Google translation of http://asahi.co.jp/precure/ I have confirmed the title of #18 to be 100% correct and the post was made on 6/4/2011 well before this dispute of ours. If you want to help find a better translator otherwise you can stay out of my way(I refuse to use Google translate to enter info because it's terrible. In this case fansubbers are better even if they are off abit). I was trying to find the Toei animation site to confirm the title for 19 but my browser keeps crashing when I use the google translation version of toei.co.jp. One thing that you do not understand is that TV shows run on a production schedule and it's very possible to get the episode tile(only) before it airs. Previews work for just the title of the next episode but no summaries should be made from these since the episode has not aired. Darkcat1 (talk) 16:21, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for request(even though I'm involved in the dispute): new sources possibly to be accepted for disputed titles for 18, and 19(verified)-

  • http://asahi.co.jp/precure/ -blog post preview of episode 18 confirms title before episode airs. Post was made on 6/5/2011. Used Google translate to help confirm but I request a real JP translator to help settle dispute
  • http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/ -Toei animation's JP site. I request help from a Japanese translator to navigate the site. I'm sure their Suite Precure page will confirm the episode title for 19. I will try a google translation later but last time it crashed my copy of Firefox

Not done: There does not seem to be consensus for any additions at this time. Note that any translations (by human or computer) would count as WP:Original research unless they are backed by reliable sources. Neither of your sources above seems to be reliable. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:35, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
excuse me and let me explain if you want me to spell this out: I have found the original source of the titles. TV Asahi airs the show in Japan so any translation of their webiste for this show would prove that #18 is 100% correct. If I can find the right page for toei animation they are the makers/producers of the show so if the title exists there it will prove my title for 19. Honestly the titles on this page are a batch of one liners from episode previews and TV guides and I don't see why you need to be so anal about sources in the first place and I fail to understand your FAQ on verifiable as it seems to be too subjective in this case and the FAQ itself is way too complicated for me to ever understand. It's not like I'm making these up and TV Asahi always seems to prove me right(at least on the Katana) before the next episode airs. Some of this makes me wish I could find the physical magazine they came from and mail it to you but you probably wouldn't accept that either. The titles I just posted are from a Wikipedia sister site (the Italian version) but I don't really trust the romanji titles because they are not done by an English translator.Darkcat1 (talk) 13:05, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
