I'd have to respectfully disagree that "biblical references" in their songs are what made people think Pedro the Lion was a Christian band -- the fact that they put out their first record on a Christian label, played the "Christian" festival circuit, and that Bazan has publicly stated he is a Christian have a lot more to do with that perception.

  • I agree with that as well. Let's go ahead and state that in the article. However, if we extrapolate on that thought, we may want to move it out of the first paragraph and give it its own section. Cheers Mattbrundage 17:27, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

References to Bazan's faith

[edit]

As a long time fan of the band I've always been struck by what I understand to be the sincerity of his references to his faith. I've got no sources other than my ears, which don't rank on WP. It's something that ought to be mentioned if it's documented. He's so expressive that I'm sure I'm not the only one who's noticed this. Nuttish (talk) 04:19, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
