External links section
[edit]This section was tagged with {{POV-section}} with no explanation given. I have reverted because it's not clear to me exactly what the relevant policy has to do with the external links here. A quick check of those links revealed nothing egregiously wrong, although I think a couple of the sites may be only borderline acceptable. In any event, if a problem is identified with the section, the best way to deal with it is to add or remove individual links. It's best to use an edit summary or explain here on the talk page the reason for the addition or removal. Rivertorch (talk) 18:14, 14 November 2012 (UTC)

- Different allergens. Perfume causes blistering on contact, and blinding tears in the area. Lotion causes a more diffuse rash. 108.48.94.155 (talk) 15:15, 30 October 2015 (UTC)

Body Spray?
[edit]Does the term Body Spray indicate anything regarding the Dilution classes? Is it defined or just an advertising term? --Manorainjan 09:56, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
Islamic invasion of Spain?
[edit]Spain did not exist as a country in the 8th century. The Arab invasion takes place in the territory known as the Iberian Peninsula, and has a marked origin in the south of the two current countries that form the Iberian Peninsula, Portugal and Spain. 2001:8A0:5F22:B500:3906:7602:8135:850A (talk) 13:25, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
Typo? Or a technical detail not clear?
[edit]I dont know the difference in terminology... but parfum and EdP are not the same?? (the parfum dates to 1921, whereas the EdP was not developed until the 1980s). If same that sentence needs editing If different "parfum" needs a definition within the "imprecise terminology" paragraph Is "parfum" Edt? EdC?

“Parfum” and “Eau de Parfum” are not the same; “Parfum” is more concentrated (i.e., has a higher oil-to-alcohol ratio). It’s often used interchangeably with “Extrait” or “Extrait de Parfum” Hale-Borz (talk) 08:28, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
Millésime terminology
[edit]I can find very little on the term “millésime“ and most of the search results point to a single brand “Creed” which uses this term. I have looked in french language locations as well and do not find this term used for fragrances there either. It is certainly not used widely and much more commonly used in the context of wines. I would recommend removing it without any citations. Equals42 (talk) 22:55, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
