RAM Trucks division

[edit]

This template needs to be split in two, to account for the new division. 76.66.192.35 (talk) 05:28, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No it does not. The new template would include only 2010 vehicles, and that is utterly useless at this point. There is no problem in keeping Ram branded trucks in the same timeline as Dodge trucks; the timeline can be used for both brands for the time being. --Vossanova o< 16:33, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think this template needs to be split in two as well, considering that Dodge and Ram are now separate. 68.37.41.158 (talk) 20:43, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if anyone is watching this page, but I think there's enough difference from Dodge nowadays to go ahead and create a new template. Template:Edsel Timeline is allowed to exist with only three years, so that argument is no longer valid as Ram has double the years. Not to mention Template:Merkur timeline, which only has five years and two models. I think I'll go ahead and split the two templates and cite this as precedent if it is nominated for TFD. --Molandfreak (talk, contribs, email) 05:04, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
