Welcome, French editors

[edit]

Bienvenue, @Berdea, Sweow025, William Jexpire, and Kertraon: à la Wikipédia anglaise! (I'm going to switch to English, because I know you are all fluent, and this is en-wiki, after all.)

I just wanted to thank you (epecially Berdea) for the creation and expansion of the Nav template Palette Libération de la France. We've used that as a base, to creat this template in English, and it has now moved on a bit and expanded. You are all welcome to edit it, if you wish, or to make comments here about it.

I do a fair bit of editing on French topics, and it's possible we could set up a cross-wiki collaboration of mutual benefit, as you create or improve French articles on topics that already exist on en-wiki, and I do the same here for articles on French topics that we don't have yet (of which there are a huge number; example: here are the first 100 articles in fr-wiki in Catégorie:Résistance française which do not exist in en-wiki). It would also be nice to have some native speakers to whom editors here who work on French topics a lot could ask questions about tricky passages in French. You are all welcome to drop by my user talk page any time, for comments, advice, or questions. Merci à tous, et bonne continuation! A+ Mathglot (talk) 18:39, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
