Wikipedia philosophy

You can see from my user boxes on the right that I support the notion that Wikipedia articles can be built up over time and need not be complete in their first instance.

I need to make a rant here: I have been affronted by, what I consider to be, the sheer arrogance of some moderators who have felt it appropriate to flag articles for deletion - in one case within 16 minutes of my creating it, and while - as the history showed - I was still working on it! Please! Let us have some common sense here.

In fact, I think these moderators should re-familiarise themselves with the official Wikipedia editing policy which is clear that a compelling advantage of Wikipedia over traditional media is its ability to have incrementally-developed articles.

Thank you :) Now let us work together to make Wikipedia a brilliant repository of all knowledge.
