User:Donald Albury/Trenton 1214
Earlier this month I noticed Trenton 1214 (talk · contribs) changing numbers in articles about elections (specifically, turnout percentages), deleting citations when the numbers were sourced. After reviewing a number of the articles, I found that in many articles the user was removing sourced figures and figures that I could find sources for, and replacing them with incorrect numbers. (The user also had made minor edits to some articles that did not materially improve the article.) I blocked Trenton 1214 here for vandalism on Sep 18 (note that Cullen (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) had blocked the user the day before for 31 hours for personal attacks) and revereted most of the user's edits. The next day I found that 108.237.30.62 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) had reverted several articles to the version by Trenton 1214, and I blocked the IP for block evasion (here).
Several different IPs then made one or more edits to the same set of articles, including:
- 2600:6C5D:4500:34E3:BCDD:F8BA:FC2D:D4B5 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) - 3 edits on Sep. 23 to 2018 Georgia Secretary of State election, restoring Trenton 1214's edit that I had reverted;
- 2600:6C5D:4500:34E3:104F:699:3170:AE48 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) - 2 edits on Sep. 23 to articles also edited by Trenton 1214;
- 2600:6C5D:4500:34E3:2DA8:BB58:93EB:1A81 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) - 3 edits on Sep. 23 to Sep. 27, to articles on election topics one, including one reverting an edit by RonMcDonald721;
- 2600:6C5D:4500:34E3:F43D:6B8A:588F:5688 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) - 1 edit on Sep. 24, restoring the version by Trenton 1214 that I had reverted;
Yesterday, I became aware that RonMcDonald721 (talk · contribs) has been editing many of the same articles, starting Sep. 23, (Special:Contributions/RonMcDonald721) when he posted on my (talk page), and I blocked that user for being a sock puppet of Trenton 1214 and for block evasion (here). I also note that WikiFrazbear (talk · contribs) has made 9 edits from Sep. 25 to Sep. 28, including 7 to articles previously edited by Trenton 1214. Both WikiFrazbear and 2600:6C5D:4500:34E3:2DA8:BB58:93EB:1A81 misspelled 'paragraph' as 'pharograph' in edit summaries, while 2600:6C5D:4500:34E3:BCDD:F8BA:FC2D:D4B5 misspelled 'paragraph' as 'petrograph' in an edit summary.
