iChristProductions is a video production ministry that focuses on creating music videos using Christian hip hop and Christian rock. The ministry is well known throughout the popular video site YouTube and continues to expand all throughout the web with various websites. The ministry currently has 30 videos out that can be viewed by the public, and over 10 that have not been released to the public. The ministry was founded in December of 2007 to develop inspiring commercials for viewers, but would later on move to develop music videos from popular Christian music. It has over 100,000 annual video views and 100s of subscribers to its videos. It continues to debut videos and push through criticism to stay on top of things.
History
[edit]The ministry was established by young film producer Joshua Mayo to create Christian videos that would reach out to viewers across the web. After establishing its first YouTube channel in January of 2008, it continued on creating multiple websites that focus on individual age groups. The ministry was originally created to focus on the younger age group teens, but later on moved forward to focus on multiple age groups including adults. The ministry is well known for its videos, but is also urging to be known for its helpful inspirational websites. As of 2009, it has 2 full up and running websites, and 2 more in production that look to be finished by early 2010.
iChristProductions started off as just a name, followed by an unregistered motto, "Preaching Christ Through Picture". The ministry has no official logo but plans on pursuing one in the near future.
