Welcome to my user page. On Wikipedia, I'm known as Sephiroth BCR (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA), but known as Ben outside this online community, although feel free to refer to me as such here. Editing Wikipedia for me evolved from a simple curiosity into the functioning of this new Internet phenomenon into an actual interest in improving this online encyclopedia. To have a hand in editing articles that are viewed by millions of people is certainly a treat, as well an enjoyable experience. I earnestly hope this endeavor continues into the future, and thrives on the edits of everyone.
I live in the state of California, or more specifically, Orange County. I've been editing Wikipedia since November 30, 2005, which incidentally, is my birthday. That said, I did not really start to be engaged in editing until March 2007. I've been contributing fairly consistently since then, with ups and downs and the months go on. I currently attend Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey.
I am an administrator (RFA), so feel free to contact me if anything admin-specific comes your way. I use my administrative tools primarily for blocking vandals, particularly those that are reported at the administrator noticeboard for vandalism, and for deleting articles that are marked for speedy deletion. I am an administrator coach, and am currently mentoring one user, Gary King. In terms of my contributions, my interests are primarily focused on anime, manga, film, and video game articles. I concentrate especially on bringing lists to featured list status; I rank second among all Wikipedians in featured lists successfully nominated, and am one of the directors of the featured list removal process. I also concentrate on the featured topic process; I created the topic workshop for WikiProject Anime and manga.
