Ed Orgeron

[edit]

I removed the book of info regarding the Egg Bowl you added to the Ed Orgeron article. It doesn't belong in the Orgeron article but instead belongs at Egg Bowl and should also be written from a neutral point of view. See WP:NPOV for information on how to achieve that. -- ALLSTARecho 15:33, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Mississippi Insurance Commissioner has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article is only a list of commissioners with no context and no references.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Information icon Hello, I'm Beccaynr. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Riley Gaines, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Beccaynr (talk) 16:56, 13 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jomfan, I encourage you to discuss your proposed addition at the article Talk page. I have outlined my concerns in my edit summary removing your recent addition, and we can discuss this further at the article Talk page. Thank you, Beccaynr (talk) 17:25, 13 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

George E. Harris

[edit]

Hi Jomfan, I'm writing to let you know I reverted this edit on George E. Harris. The cite you provided (which I made a clipping of) does not support the election of a Republican attorney general or the election of the 'second Republican' as you stated, but it supports there was a Republican ticket in the election. With a better citation, I can see support for your statement. --Engineerchange (talk) 17:53, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, the December 23, 1869 edition of the Jackson Clarion newspaper on page 2 declares Morris duly elected and having received the majority of the votes cast. I will soon provide the link for it. That's in edition to the clipping you made. Thanks very much. Jomfan (talk) 22:53, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Donald Albury. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bob Graham, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Donald Albury 23:12, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
