Sorry about that. ^^; I only wanted to change the color from purple to red.

I have reverted your edit as you fail to provide reliable sources to verify that season one has completed. Please provide a reliable source to verify any claims you make in any article. Thank you. Sarujo (talk) 22:54, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, other wikis and wikia are not reliable sources. Even if you take the guideline out of consideration, it still doesn't verify the information you're trying to add here. Still, we are not taking anything that comes from a wiki of wikia into any kind of consideration. Sarujo (talk) 14:09, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding that date without reliable sources. Otherwise you will be reported to administration for disruptive editing. Sarujo (talk) 08:25, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Looney Tunes Super-Stars

[edit]

Why do you insist on continually adding the bit about how collectors should avoid certain Looney Tunes Super-Stars releases? Sb2007 (talk) 16:16, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Because I saw lots of bad reviews written for certain Double-Dipping LTSS DVDs on Amazon.Com and even on the Warner Bros. Online Shop Store.

I saw lots of reveiwers giving low stars and written negative reveiws for most LTSS DVDs, mainly the double dipping LTSS.

But also lots of Collectors were disappointed on the Road Runner Super Stars DVD because it didn't contain any of the classic Chuck Jones Road Runner Cartoons.

Lots of reviewers have writing negative reviews for the Super Genius Hijinx DVD as well.

I only add the bits of avoiding any certain LTSS DVDs if they are double dips or if something is wrong with the DVD.

>> But here's the thing. Wikipedia isn't a DVD review site. It's an online encyclopedia designed to present facts. While it is true that some of the Looney Tunes sets have received negative reviews for various reasons (whether double dips or being Blu-ray only or widescreen cropping), it doesn't belong on Wikipedia for two reasons: 1) It gives the articles a bias. This is particularly true in the Road Runner Super-Stars article, as the merits of those Larriva Road Runners is strictly opinion. By saying collectors should avoid that release, it makes the article look like it was written by someone who has an axe to grind with those specific cartoons. Additionally, there -are- some collectors who do want to own every short, so this sort of inclusion is pointless and inaccurate.

2) Saying that people should avoid a release if it doesn't contain cartoons they like kind of goes without saying, and feels redundant. Why is it necessary to say people should avoid a release if it's already stated in the earlier sentences that it's all double dips from previous Looney Tunes DVD releases? What does that add? Don't you think people are smart enough to infer that if a release is double dips, they won't want it if they already have those cartoons? Sb2007 (talk) 22:21, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Looney Tunes: Space Race, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Granny (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). A tag has been placed on Majhost, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (season 5). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Liz Read! Ways to improve Bugs Bunny: Winner By A Hare

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Looney Tunes Presents (VHS Series) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://looney.goldenagecartoons.com/DVDvideo/VHS/videoltpresents.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Hi, thanks for message. Your articles were deleted because either

  • you did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines.
  • The article was a copyright violation. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain.

Note that persistent recreation of articles deleted by due process can be seen as disruptive action and could lead to admin actions such as

  • Protecting the page so it cannot be recreated
  • Blocking the user concerned, which also prevents creation of a new account

I'm sorry if this reads like a threat but it's only fair to let you know that tendentious editing may have consequences. Thanks Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:57, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm an administrator on the English Wikipedia. Please avoid personal attacks. If you are easily frustrated, Wikipedia is going to constantly test your patience, as this is a collaborative project and people don't always see eye-to-eye. Civility is a must. With regard to your objection, per WP:BRD, if content you submit is reverted, the onus is on you to open a discussion to seek consensus for inclusion rather than to resubmit the content. Another editor has objected on the basis that the content seems trivial, so why don't you open a polite discussion to find out why the other editor thinks this way? Personally, I think it's a little unclear what long-term academic benefit is being served in an encyclopedia by including one guy's opinion about a mobile app. In 5 years, will we care that he thought people should complain? Anyhow, that's something you can discuss with Summer. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:35, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The way you describe it, it's like 'oh thursday'. But, from just adding the date to an episode to a show. Like if a tv station shows it at midnight, (from it being a wednesday and its thursday.)
Or look at crunchyroll, when the peculiar named show would be released at 9;00 pst, but when the date is added is ok. If it was 'on the dot.' Then if it was hours/ some time before, as when the tv station released the episode, then their regional online video service does too. Wait until there's a ref/ source that can be proved. (I.e. a tv schedule of when it's shown. At-x, Tokyo MX or this as it's a different show/anime) Other than that, you can wait until crunchyroll tells when it is, other online video services, etc. Unblue box (talk) 20:50, 15 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edit to Net neutrality seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. I have also removed your comment at the talk page for violating WP:NOTFORUM. Thank you. SkyWarrior 03:31, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop using articles and talk pages as soapboxes please. --NeilN talk to me 03:39, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Would you rather lose your internet freedom rights? Net Neutrality is in dire peril!!!!!! --LooneyTunerIan (talk) 06:42, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Everyone thinks I'm not here to build an encyclopedia, but I am simply trying to edit some articles when some pushy fussy editor refuses to let me keep my edits in tact.--LooneyTunerIan (talk) 16:35, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your block was the result of a community consensus. It was not just one pushy, fussy editor. Yamla (talk) 18:30, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
