Welcome!

Hello Shashwat pandey, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  -Will Beback · · 10:43, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello, Shashwat pandey. Please be aware that a request for comments has been filed concerning your conduct on Wikipedia. Hi Shashwat. I am responding to a Wikiquette Alert regarding the banner you placed at the top of your Talk page. It appears that this may be a violation of WP:CIVIL and is against the spirit of the mediation and RfC processes. I'd like to make a friendly suggestion that you remove this banner and participate openly in these processes - it will be more beneficial to everyone involved. Please rest assured that the folks at RfC will understand how to interpret your edit history and those of other involved users - calling excessive attention to the matter like with the banner above may only serve to hinder your side of the issue. Thanks. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 21:57, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page move vandalism

[edit]

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow or move it unilaterally while discussion about it is underway, as you did to Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Shashwat pandey. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you.
