Help with Translation!?

Can you help translate this for me to swedish? Many thanks in advance!

The first railroad line in Albania was built in 1948 linking Tiranë with Durrës on the coast and Elbasan in the interior. The main ports are Durrës, Vlorë, Shëngjin, and Sarandë.

Albania has a somewhat limited telephone network. There is a fairly extensive broadcasting service, however, and television programming began in 1971. Newspaper circulation is quite limited. There is a state university at Tiranë.

Sports clubs established before 1850

Greetings and thanks for your work on the Category:Sports clubs by year of establishment. I noticed that you created several categories for sports clubs established before 1850 (eg Category:Sports clubs established in 1824). If you have a look in Category:Sports clubs by year of establishment you should see that there is Category:Sports clubs established before 1850 into which pre-1850 sports clubs should go. They should also go in the appropriate establishments category, eg Category:1824 establishments. There don't appear to be enough sports clubs established in each year to justify the creation to year-by-year categories. Obviously, if lots do end up in the Sports clubs established before 1850 category then we could revisit the cutoff point and make it 1840 or some other ealier date. Elitserien map

Really good map, I was thinking about adding one myself but had no idea of how to do one. But do you think it would be possible to replace the red dots with either a small logo or maybe add the team name behind the dot like on the map for Major League Soccer? --Krm500 10:01, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Your maps

Hi there. It seems that you created quite a lot clickable maps of Sweden in various articles. I thought I would give you the heads-up that this could now be achieved in a much neater/cleaner way using mw:Extension:ImageMaps. At the same time, the {{click}} template currently required by the maps is being deprecated. I'm not sure how you went about creating the maps but maybe you would have a not-too-labour-intensive way of converting them into image maps.

If you do, the ideal way would be to create a lot of images of the map with dots on and then make those dots clickable with the ImageMaps extension. While you're at it, you should use an SVG format map such as Image:SWE-Map Rike.svg, rather than the current raster PNG version. Cheers! BigBlueFish (talk) 01:12, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi there, Ive recently joined the WP:WikiProject Swimming team. Im committed to getting on top of the project. Since you have listed yourself as a participant i thought i'd let you know what i've done. Ive got a bot thats going through the relevant catagouries that apply to the project and tagging them with our banner. Ive done all the stub class articles and assessed them automaticlly, and im starting on the 3000 other articles that ive identified. So this will mean that we will have all the articles in the scope of the project together and we can start working on them. So if you have any spare time theres going to be thousands of articles that will need assessing. There are around 2000 articles Just in Stub-Class swimming articles, and most of these will need the importance assessed. I think it's important we get all this assessing done, so we can start working on the articles.

Don't fell pressured to start assessing articles, i just thought that since theres going to be so many articles, you should know that theres heaps of work that needs to be done, ill be trying my best once my exams are finished. Remember many hands make light work.

International Swimming Navbox and Article

to avoid having an edit war with you, i wanted to ask why "mens NCAA" and "womens NCAA" champsionships needs to be added to the international swimming navbox? those templates are for international competitions only, not domestic. the two articles ("mens NCAA" and "womens NCAA") even state that they're for the USA. there are 31 international navboxes, but swimming is the only one with NCAA on it. NCAA sponsors 44 sports, but only swimming shows up on any navbox. there are also 9 college sports associations in the USA, and only NCAA shows up in swimming. so to make it fair, we'd have to put all the sports from all the assocations on all the navboxes. i know NCAA is the biggest assocation in the USA, and USA is the biggest culture/influence in the world, but there is no reason to put 1 sport from 1 assocation from 1 country into 1 navbox. swimming's not even the biggest sport in the world.

also, you added the international swimming navbox in the "NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships" article. all my comments about the navbox apply to this article. no other NCAA sport has an international sports navbox in its article, and no other association's swimming article has the this same navbox (the article "NAIA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships" is an example). i just want to see all the navboxes/articles look uniform, and not let swimming fans make the swimming navbox/articles look 1 way, and a football fan make the football navbox/articles look completely different. no matter how "popular" one association, country or sport is. i took care of the navbox and both articles (men's and women's) for you. i hope this doesn't become an edit war, nor that the same thing occurs to other navboxes/sports championships articles. i found there are domestic sports navboxes where the links you provided go better. Wikipedia:Categorization says Pages are not placed directly into every possible category, only into the most specific one in any branch. - which is why I changed the cats on Annika Uvehall. Flag icons for yacht clubs

Please do not create Country data templates for yacht clubs; that's not the purpose of the flag template system. You could just use plain MediaWiki image syntax for inline images if they are truly necessary (although WP:MOSICON implies that kind of image usage is discouraged) or you could create a template system specifically for yacht club flags, but that should clearly be distinct from the system we use for national and subnational flag icons. Update I have created Template:Yachtclub for rendering the burgees in icon form. I hope you find this more suitable for your articles, since the wiki markup is clearer. Instead of [[Yacht club name]] you can use {{yachtclub|Yacht club name}} to render both the icon and the article link.
