- Delete In my inexpert opinion, the only figures on the list who pass WP:GNG are Isildur and probably Elendil, and they are already listed at List of Middle-earth characters. Hog Farm (talk) 02:07, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
- Delete, but I don't buy the nominator's rational. Per WP:LISTN: it is not a question of whether the individual list items are notable, but rather if the subject itself is notable (i.e. if the subject
has been discussed as a group or set by independent reliable sources
). However, this topic shows no evidence of meeting this lower bar since there are no reliable independent sources. BenKuykendall (talk) 02:44, 3 January 2020 (UTC) - Delete we should not be creating lists of fictional people when half or more of the list are never proper characters at all and some come from abandoned first drafts that an overly found of publishing son made available to the world.John Pack Lambert (talk) 16:19, 3 January 2020 (UTC)

- Delete, Article fails notability as figures in the list are either fictional or are already in other lists Alex-h (talk) 10:49, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
- Every figure on this list is fictional. Although they have the draw back of not appearing in many works of fiction as actual characters.John Pack Lambert (talk) 16:34, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
- Delete Mostly non-notable fictional characters Dartslilly (talk) 01:16, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- Delete: Númenór is part of the backstory of The Lord of the Rings, though the land has long since disappeared. It appears more prominently in The Silmarillion and other minor, posthumous works that never received the same popular or critical acclaim. Númenóreans are simply not notable.--Jack Upland (talk) 08:59, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- Except Numenor post dates the main action of the Silmarillion.John Pack Lambert (talk) 13:38, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
- Delete as non-notable Tolkiencruft pursuant to WP:LISTN. Mdaniels5757 (talk) 15:09, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
