Nominated by IP user. Their rationale: Subject of the article is not notable. Full source analysis available at Talk:Rajeev Ranjan Giri#More analysis which includes all the sources that have been present in the article. BLPN thread failed to turn up any additional sourcing and it was suggested that the page be nominated for deletion so I have done so. Unfortunately significant coverage in multiple reliable independent sources does not exist. initiated on behalf of IP by UtherSRG (talk) 00:22, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

- Delete: Non of the references given are really reliable, it just mentions the subject, I previously went through this article and i then found it not passing Notability Guidelines. — Quadrimobile(T · C 08:02, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- Keep: I found this title notable as it is the profile of an author, editor, critic and the professor. Profile has good references in BBC, Times of India but an user removed them previously in frustration and vendetta. - This is not how Wikipedia defines notability. Pleas see WP:N. - UtherSRG (talk) 11:47, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- Delete lacks indepth coverage fails WP:NPROF and WP:GNG.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 00:35, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
- Delete: BLP, fails GNG and NBIO. Based on the source eval Talk:Rajeev Ranjan Giri#Notability, and sourcing and the article there is not WP:IS WP:RS with WP:SIGCOV addressing the subject directly and indepth. Article makes no claim to WP:N, it describes a perfectly normal respected university professor, doing the things university professors normally do such as research and writing. I couldn't find any reviews of their work in academic journals, if I've missed anything with WP:SIGCOV, please ping me. // Timothy :: talk 02:32, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
