Sasso's only claim to notability is that she is the first woman Rabbi ordained by the Reconstructionist branch of Judaism. Not that she is the first woman rabbi, but the first of this particular branch. While this may or may not be notable, it is not borne out by any sources. The only fact in this article that can actually be verified by sources is that Sasso is currently a rabbi at a particular congregation in Indianapolis. - Delete She does not meet the qualifications for notability. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Contacteeperson (talk • contribs) 14:55, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Rabbi Sandy Eisenberg Sasso is a notable children’s books author: She wrotes 18 books (see video Bilingual (French and English) Female Rabbi, author of Childrens'Books:Many Jewish childrens in Canada read these books. In the United States, influence of Einsnberg Sasso's Books at the Jewish childrens is can be limited in reformist and Reconstructionist ??? Also She soon became identified as one of the voices of feminist Judaism.--Geneviève (talk) 18:05, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. Sasso's status as the first female Reconstructionist rabbi is readily confirmed; she was also later president of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association[1][2][3] And yes, this was a very big deal in Judaism in 1974. Sasso is also listed on The Forward's 2010 list of most influential female rabbis.[4] --Arxiloxos (talk) 18:57, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy keep Being the first female Reconstructionist rabbi establishes Sasso's notability. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 19:21, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong keep. Her being the first female rabbi to be ordained by the Reconstructionist movement combined with about a dozen published books, four awards for specific books and one general book award should be plenty material for notability... -- Olve Utne (talk) 23:01, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep. She's my rabbi, mind you, and she is very notable. Just check out the sources.--brewcrewer (yada, yada) 03:10, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- If a WP:RS can be found verifying that she was the first female rabbi to be ordained by the Reconstructionist movement than the article is a strong keep to my mind. Right now the article does not have a source for this. Joe407 (talk) 07:10, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Withdrawn Arxiloxos (talk · contribs) has provided the reliable sources needed to verify notability, although I dispute Genevieve's claim that Sasso is notable as a children's book author. An author is not notable merely for being prolific. Reliable sources are still needed for this claim. (Youtube is not a reliable source.) WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:10, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Shalom, I understands the opinion of WikiDan61 for YouTube but this opinion is not valid for the video Female Rabbi, author of Childrens'Books: Because this video was realized by Sonia Sarah Lipsyc director of Aleph CSUQ , and Abigail Hirsch a Film Producer. They have been conducting 3 interviews-Video with Rabbi Sandy Eisenberg Sasso: Reference in Jewish Women's Archives. My reference is a reliable source. I believe that these two persons, Sonia Sarah Lipsyc and Abigail Hirsch are 2 Credible serieus persons in Jewish community of montreal. They made a serious videos with Rabbi Sandy Eisenberg Sasso. Thank, --Geneviève (talk) 23:33, 25 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
