The result was delete. As things stand there is clear consensus to delete, but I would be happy to provide a draftspace copy to anyone who wants one. I don't think it is terribly fair to AfD participants to leave this open without a clear indication as to why. As our policy doesn't preclude recreation if new sources are found, that is probably a better use of community time. Vanamonde93 (talk) 23:04, 12 December 2024 (UTC) NB: the drafspace copy is at Draft:Thamir Muhsin. Vanamonde93 (talk) 17:33, 13 December 2024 (UTC)

Unnotable lecturer at the Baghdad University. No significant coverage. SolxrgashiUnited (talk) 17:29, 5 December 2024 (UTC)

- Where on the internet? Did you look with his Arabic name? In books? What about newspaper archives? Because that's where the coverage would be; a plain English Google search isn't sufficient. BeanieFan11 (talk) 19:37, 5 December 2024 (UTC)

- Delete - no evidence of notability. If sources are found (and I am sure someone better than me can find them!) which show significant coverage please ping me. GiantSnowman 15:22, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- Delete - I couldn't find any substantial coverage under Thamir Muhsin, a few other similar names, or what I _think_ may be his Arabic name. Searching is tough because of this Thamir Muhsen, also a sports scientist at Baghdad U. Agree with BeanieFan11 that the best chance for finding SIGCOV will be in Arabic-language newspaper archives, ideally an obit or similar. Suriname0 (talk) 20:29, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
- No objection to a relist. Suriname0 (talk) 05:11, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

- I can't easily find anything, but I think it's absolutely crazy that someone who managed a national team, albeit briefly (RSSSF says his first stint was taking a younger version of the national team to a cup), and someone who coached one of the top clubs in the country to the top flight for the first time, would not be notable. The problem is Arabic is a difficult language for me to find pre-internet sources from. The best I can do is a 2016 source from the Al-Talaba SC page which clearly mentions him in a translation: [1] SportingFlyer T·C 21:06, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- To the closing admin: could I request a relist to give me more time to search? Thanks, BeanieFan11 (talk) 21:15, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, a relist here would be fantastic. The sources we already have strongly suggests there would be coverage of him in hard to find places. SportingFlyer T·C 22:24, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
