Even with InfluxDB 0.9.0 just around the corner, many people still use 0.8. We had 14k downloads on pypi this month and the lib on pypi does not even support InfluxDB 0.9.
For this reason, I think that we should still support InfluxDB 0.8 for a while.
This PR brings back 0.8 support in an influxdb.influxdb08 package, where users will be able to use the legacy client.
