This change aligns the wording for deleting a resource with wording for creating and updating a resource:

json-api/_format/1.1/index.md

Lines 1464 to 1465 in 9870d6f

A resource can be created by sending a `POST` request to a URL that represents
a collection of resources. The request **MUST** include a single [resource object][resource objects]

json-api/_format/1.1/index.md

Lines 1626 to 1627 in 9870d6f

A resource can be updated by sending a `PATCH` request to the URL that
represents the resource.

Wording for updating relationships is aligned with the others in #1650.
