Looks like the locator logic has changed so much since I opened this that rebasing would be a nightmare (and the bug might be fixed anyway?), so I'm going to close this and will open a new PR if I come across the issue again. |

Previously the
SymmetricaLogLocatorwould add a tick in the linear range, and because all the ticks are log-formatted this could lead to the wrong interpretation that the log-scaled range is bigger than it actually is. This PR fixes that and removes the tick that used to be below the linear threshold.Might be worth reviewing #14308 first, which this builds upon.
