This is an Object Detection Web App built using Flask. It is developed using OpenCV4.4.0 by re-using a pre-trained TensorFlow Object Detection Model API trained on the COCO dataset.

Flask App for Object Detection using OpenCV4.4.0 and TensorFlow2

How to Run the App?

  • Clone/Download this folder.

  • cd Flask-ObjDetect

  • Run pip install -r requirements.txt

  • Then run python app.py

  • Now click on the localhost link(http://127.0.0.1:5000/) as displayed in in your cmd upon running this app.py file. You could also copy-paste the link in your browser.

  • Uplaod an image and click on Submit button. You will be displayed the Detected Objects.

To better understand the code of Object Detection step-wise, it is highly recommended to visit the Object_Detection_and_Segmentation_with_OpenCV_and_Tensorflow_mask_RCNN.ipynb Jupyter notebook.
