The current Wikinews logo:

is the result of the Wikinews logo contest voting and the subsequent runoff vote. Variations can still be proposed at Wikinews logo contest voting/Variants. The old proposals can be seen at /Proposals. There have been many suggestions that it be altered so that it is not so much like any other famous international-organization logos; such modifications are rumored to be implemented.
