Flying crowned aquila with the coats of arms of Wallachia and Moldavia over it. The aquila holds the sceptre and the sword. In the corners, the monogram of prince Alexandru Ioan Cuza, surrounded by a laurel wreath. On the red scarf it is written: HONOR ET PATRIA.
