Kilmaurnock (Scots Gaelic: Cille Mheàrnaig) (forby kent as Killie anaw) is a mukkil burgh in East Ayrshire, Scotland, wi aboot 44,734 indwallers.[1] It is aboot haufgate atwein Glesga an Ayr, an is the seicont mukkilest toun in Ayrshire.[2] The River Irvine rins throu its eistren bit, an the Kilmarnock Wattir passes throu it, gien ryz til the name 'Bank Street'.[3]
