Romain Rolland

French author (1866-1944)

Romain Rolland (29 January 1866, Clamecy, Nièvre – 30 December 1944, Vézelay) was a French writer. He received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1915. He wrote dramas, novels, and essays.
