Bill Fitch

William Charles Fitch (May 19, 1932 – February 2, 2022) was an American professional basketball head coach in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019. He was a NBA champion in 1981. Fitch coached for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets, New Jersey Nets and the Los Angeles Clippers. Fitch was born in Davenport, Iowa.

Fitch died on February 2, 2022 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 89.[1]
