3 to 6 foot sometimes more. Left and right breaks. Won't barrel but great for beginners up to intermediates. There can be a nice left hand break just to the right of the rocks (end of beach closest to train station). Note the beach disappears at high tide but from 2 hours after high tide is fine. It's quiet, just a few locals who've figured out you can surf here (!!) and the occasional visitors.

Also popular with windsurfers (on flat westerly wind days), kayakers, and the odd dolphin.
