The Age of the Firstforged is one of the earliest recorded epochs in the history of Cybertron. It was a time of heroes and villains, of great strife and conflict that would go on to form the basis of modern Cybertronian society.

The Age of the Firstforged succeeded the Age of Primes. In the twilight of the Thirteen, Solus Prime created the Firstforged by using the Ur-Forge to unite sparks with the living metal of Cybertron. End of Time The Firstforged spread across Cybertron, laying the foundations for the civilization that was to come. At the onset of this Age, Solomus came before Solus and Alchemist Prime with the idea that would become Crystal City. A Dust of Crystals

A noted figure in Age of the Firstforged was Halonix Maximus, who fought against Preditron in the Cybertronian hinterlands, Tremors and drilled into the Great Lair of the turbofoxes with Zarak Maximus to save Solomus. Zarak later betrayed Halonix and tried to kill him. The Matrix of Leadership held records of the Age of the Firstforged and when Orion Pax merged with it, Its Mediator software foresaw oncoming chaos on a scale not seen since the Age of the Firstforged.
