The Battle of the Spacebridge was the last battle of the Transformers' war on Earth.

By the Battle of the Spacebridge, Megatron had realized the war had reached the point where it was destroying Transformers as a species and finally became convinced of the error of his ways, saying later that the human Dot Malto showing his own troops greater compassion than he did reminded him of how lost he'd become.

When the Decepticons moved the AllSpark off of Cybertron to create legions of new warriors on Earth, Megatron realized the war had entered its darkest hour. Following Optimus' orders, he snuck behind enemy lines to retrieve the Allspark, but was caught by Shockwave. Megatron tried to reason with Shockwave, who didn't listen and revealed his plan to create a protoform army to overwhelm the Autobots with. Enraged, Megatron shoved Shockwave into a stasis pod.

Optimus and Bumblebee soon arrived on the scene, congratulating Megatron for getting the AllSpark, and all three departed to go return it to Cybertron. With battle raging outside, Optimus and Bumblebee played hot potato with the AllSpark as they, and the rest of the Autobots and their human allies, fought through the Decepticon Army in an attempt to reach the spacebridge. Starscream briefly caught the AllSpark, but Megatron intercepted him and just managed to toss it through the portal as Optimus fired off the shot that destroyed the spacebridge, and the AllSpark seemingly with it, possibly destroying Cybertron and stranding the Autobots and the Decepticons on Earth.

Some time after the battle, the Spacebridge Memorial Park was built where the spacebridge once stood. Uncertainty of Cybertron's and the AllSpark's fate haunted Megatron for years. Warzone
