Clone troopers are warriors created by the Galactic Republic to fight for them in the Clone Wars.^[1] Some of them pilot AT-TE mechs. They are covered in black and white armor, and look suspiciously similar to Imperial stormtroopers. Several variations of clone troopers exist, including clone pilots, shock troopers and clone gunners.

Named clone troopers include officers Commander Cody, Captain Keeli, Captain Rex, Lieutenant Thire, and Commander Wolffe.

The clone trooper is identical to the Captain Rex toy, transforming from a white robot to a gray, six-legged AT-TE walker. Like the Commander Cody toy, its shellformerish body (and incredibly boxy alternate mode) allows for more humanoid proportions in robot mode than most other Star Wars Transformers. The AT-TE's main gun turret is a firing missile launcher, and detaches to become a handheld gun in robot mode.

When this toy was made available in 2010, it was sold as Rex again. The mold was redecoed into Clone Captain Keeli.
